Arrival in Portobelo of Seaquill.
At 15.13 hours local time, Friday 22 February 2008, Seaquill with Ulf and Jenny aboard arrived save and salty from Providencia.
“We had a very nice trip. The only thing we could complain about is that we had almost no wind last night. But for the rest the trip was very nice. We are not even tired”, was the first reaction of Ulf.
Ulf and Jenny spent quite some time in Providencia. It is not easy to get spare parts there and even harder to get the correct spare parts.
After that they had the right spare part—the waterpump of the engine—there engine was so out of shape that it refused to start. Another unforeseen and hard to trace problem. They used all the collective intellect of Providencia to solve this mysterious problem. It was a sad day for the Providencials when they finally took of and a happy day in Portobelo the day they arrived here.
