Monteverde in pictures
It always drizzles a bit in Monteverde. They call this drizzle Chipi-Chipi. The pictures of the plants and animals was in a tropical rainforest, where some paths were laid out and maintained. We had to pay for it, what we found very strange, as we walk in the rainforests in the Rio Dulce in Guatemala for free and for nothing. But, it was worth it. The tourist-industry in Guatemala can learn a lot from how the Ticos are managing this specific area.
