The galley in the middle of the reconstruction. Very important part of the boat that has to be very user-friendly.

The caprail in the picture
Another nice party in Comarca.
To live in comfort, you need ventilation in the tropics. Then there are the occasional tropical rains. Then you need to cover everything. We constructed a wind-catcher that doesn’t make noise and covers the hatch from the sun and the rain.
I’m amazed about the power of my solar-panels. I do a lot of sanding and grinding on the boat. I was planning to rent a small generator for a week, but that is not needed. I can do all my work with my small setup of 2 solar panels and 4 golf-cart batteries.
More ugly plastic chairs. Amazing collection, and this time for sale.
The first completed project on the boat in Cartagena in 2006. But keep the champagne cold, there is coming more.
Taking the measurements, deciding the wood, deciding where to get it, taking of the caprail, filling up the holes and then finally we start moving forward.
There is an amazing variety of transports in Cartagena. Here we have a look at the bike-taxis.
