Time to show our brand new suncover...
Cartagena, Monday
Another cloudless and windless day in Cartagena. It has not been raining here for 6 weeks. Closeby, circa 150 nautical miles out, it is blowing 30 to 35 knots.
Our local-net weatherman, Frank from S/V(sailing vessel)Simba is stopping with his weather forcasts. He is going to leave for the San Blas tomorrow.
Very important happening for us is the installation of the brand new suncover for the cockpit.

It was a hassle to get it all done. The sewing machine was in the beginning not in perfect condition. And Vivian, our sewstress was very much learing and struggeling with the sewing machine. Sometimes she didn’t have a clue if it was just she that was clumsy or the sewing-machine that wasn’t working right. After the repair & checkup of the machine it went much better.

It fits, it seems that it won’t get blown away in a squally wind and hopefully we will stay dry when we have some some rain, finally.
