We constructed this raincatcher in Portobelo, Panama. With local help. It always rains at least once a day there.

A very idyllic spot

They have everything you need just to relax and enjoy. A nice restaurant with cold beers

Everything very clean and nice, without any form of luxury that is out of place

A view that just makes that you want to sit there forever

Morings installed, you even don’t need to use your anchor. For free.

They even have a small hotel. You can fly in. The trip from the airport to Josh Caye is taken care of. Costs around 100$ US a night.

There are a lot of animals around. This is the aquarium, but there is also a lobster-garden, where you can pick your lobster and on the island itself are all kind of birds. The people are very nice and the service is superb, for a very reasonable price.
